A tool your AI assistant can call to look things up in Arkham Horror: The Card Game — card data, deck building, and the official FFG rules. Every answer comes back with the document and line number it came from, so a ruling can be checked rather than taken on trust. Rules lawyering, with the citations to back it up.
On the Grim Rule
The Grim Rule instructs you, where the rules are silent, to resolve the matter in the way least favourable to the investigators. We take no issue with the doctrine. We would only observe that it is a remedy of last resort, and that it is routinely invoked at the first sign of inconvenience — which is not the same thing, and has cost people their sanity.
The record is rarely as silent as the party citing it maintains. We read it first. Where the answer exists, we produce it, with the document and the line. Where it genuinely does not, the Grim Rule applies and your investigator suffers the worse outcome — but suffers it established rather than assumed.
Our clients report that this is a great comfort. Our clients are, for the most part, still alive.
